Intensive Sculpture Workshops
Join Alexandra Slava for a 5-day intensive workshop dedicated to sculpting a full figure in clay from a life model.
This workshop offers participants a unique opportunity to delve into the internal structure and complexity of the human figure in three dimensions. The first lesson focuses on studying human anatomy and engaging in practical exercises to help participants grasp the body's internal framework before tackling the challenge of sculpting from life. The remainder of the workshop is dedicated to rendering a 1/3 life-size figure from a life model, under the expert guidance of the principal instructor.
Thanks to the small-group format and personalized teaching approach, this course is suitable for both beginners and those with prior sculpting experience.
At the end of the course, participants may choose to join the additional Mold-Making & Casting Course, where they will learn the techniques of rubber molding and casting their projects in a durable material. Learn more about the Mold-Making & Casting Course.
